Our Journey
Legacy of Excellence
At Orys Circle 7 Red Angus, our journey began with a vision to uphold the legacy of Red Angus cattle. As a family-owned ranch, we are deeply rooted in the values of hard work, integrity, and stewardship. Our seedstock operation has evolved from two Iowa kids showing steers and breeding heifers in 4-H,l to thousands of miles spent showing and marketing our program.We strive to provide high-quality Red Angus genetics, we do not breed for extremes or any single trait, but maintain a balance of the most economically relevant traits. Our cattle have moderate frames, are structurally correct, easy fleshing, with high fertility and carcass value that fit today’s beef industry.
Our operation was established over 50 year ago in Winterset, Iowa by founders Dennis Ory and wife JoAnn. We have been located in Rocky Comfort for around 30 years. Dennis is still an integral part of the operations. There is now more family involved including Dennis' son Matt Ory, granddaughter Karadie Ory-Murray, her husband Kyler Murray, and our fourth generation Elain Murray.
